Educational Qualification
Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with a minimum of 65 percent (55 percent for SC, ST, and PwBD categories), as determined by the respective Institute/University. A candidate who holds the required degree for the subjects listed below can only apply for the position of EET in that discipline

Age Limit
Engineering Executive Trainee:
As per Government of India laws the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 year for OBC; 10 years for Person with Disabilities (15 year for SC ST PWD’s & 13 year for OBC PWD). Candidate will given a relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with government regulation. For further information, see NTPC’s official Notification 2022.
Salary
Candidate must have taken the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2021 to be considered. Candidate who apply in response to this NTPC posting will be shortlisted for document verification based on their GATE-2021 performance. Furthermore, they will be issued a “Offer of Appointment” if they match the advertised qualifying criteria. Please note that only GATE scores from the year 2021 are valid for this position.
Application Fee/Exam Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/- is needed of candidates belonging to the General/EWS/OBC category. The registration fee waived for SC/ST/PwBD/XSM candidate and female candidate. Payment can be made in two way: online or offline.
1.Payment in offline mode
On behalf of NTPC, the State Bank of India has been permitted to collect the registration fee in a special account (No. 30987919993) at the CAG branch in Delhi. The candidates must take a printout of the “pay-in-slip” that may be on the application registration portal to a nearby SBI banks. The pay in slip printed the portal should only be used to deposit the fee in order for the amount to be properly credited to assign account. When the money received, the bank will issue a unique Journal Number as well as the bank’s Branch Code. During online registration the candidate must enter in this journal number well as the branch code. If the candidate deposits the money NTPC will not be held liable.
2.Payment in online mode
Candidates can also pay their fees online (through Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card). When filling out the application form, the online payment option will be available on the website.
