Educational Qualification
1. Multi Skill Worker (Mason)
(i) Matriculations or equivalents from a recognised Board;
(ii) Holding an Industrial Training Institute/Industrial Trade Certificate/National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades/State Council for Vocational Training certificate in building construction/bricks mason OR
Passed the Certificate Class II for Mason as outlined in the Defence Service Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from the Office of Records / Centres or other equivalent Defense establishment.
(iii) Pass a proficiency test in the trade, which will be performed by the Border Roads Organization.
(iv) Should pass physical testing set forth by the Border Roads Organization.
(v) Physical and medical requirements set by the Border Roads Organisation must be met.
2. Multi Skill Worker (Nursing Assistant)
(a)
(i) A 12th-grade biology pass from a recognised board.
(ii) A one-year certificate course in nursing or an Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) certificate from a recognised institution, or any other equivalent or better certification in the field of nursing or pharmacy.
(iii) Graduated from the Armed Forces Medical Services or the General Reserve Engineer Force Training School’s Class II Nursing Assistant Course.
(b) Must pass a proficiency exam in the trade administered by the Border Roads Organization.
(c) Should pass physical exams as prescribed by the Border Roads Organization.
(d) Physical and medical requirements set by the Border Roads Organisation must be met.
Age Limit
1. Multi Skill Worker (Mason)
18 to 25 years of age (Relaxable for Government servants and Ex-servicemen upto 40 years in case of General candidates, 43 years in case of OBC candidates and upto 45 year in case of candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in accordance with instruction or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time).
2. Multi Skill Worker (Nursing Assistant)
Between the ages of 18 and 27. (Relaxable for the Government servant upto the age of 40 year in case of General candidate, upto the age of 43 year in case of OBC candidate and upto the age of 45 year in the case of candidate belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in accordance with instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.)
As per Governments of India laws, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 year for SC/ST; 3 year for OBC; 10 year for Person with Disabilities (15 year for SC/ST PWD & 13 year for OBC PWD) and Ex-S. Candidate will be given a relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with government regulation. For further information, see BRO’s official Notification 2022.
