ii) A Second Class Master Certificate from the Mercantile Marine Department or the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority.

2.Sub Inspector (Engine Drivers):

i) 10+2 diploma or its equivalent from a recognised board or university,

ii) A First Class Engine Driver Certificate from the Mercantile Marine Department or the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority.

3.Sub Inspector (Workshops):

i) A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or its equivalent from a recognised university; or

ii) A three-year diploma in mechanical, marine, or automotive engineering from a recognised university or institution is required.

4.Head Constable (Masters): 

i) Matriculation (or) equivalent from a recognised board;

ii) A certificate from Serang.

5.Head Constable (Engine Drivers): 

i) Matriculation from a recognised board

ii) Holding a llnd Class engine driver’s licence.

6.Head Constable (Workshop) Mechanics (Diesel/Petrol Engine):

i) Matriculations (or) equivalent from a recognised Board; and

ii) A recognised institution’s Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine).
