- Trainee Welder – The selected candidates will be placed on a two-year training programme. During the training term, they would be paid a stipend of Rs.7000/- per month in the first year and Rs.7500/- in the second year. They would be placed on the wage scale of Rs. 15100-3 percent -53000 after absorption (W-5).
- Trainee General Fitter – For the first two years, the selected applicants will be in training. They will be paid a stipend of Rs.7000/- per month for the first year and Rs.7500/- per month for the second year during the training period. They will be placed on the Rs. 15100-3 percent -53000 wage scale following absorption (W-5).

Educational Qualification
Assistant Superintendent (Hindi Translator)
Bachelor’s degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at degree level, either as an obligatory or optional subject from a recognised University/Institute, plus a minimum of one year of Hindi translation experience from Hindi to English and vice versa.
Minimum 2 years of experience translating procedural and non-procedural literatures from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government agencies, including a Government of India undertaking.
Knowledge of the Konkani and Marathi languages is preferred.
Structural Fitter
The candidate must have an ITI and an NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trades of structural fitter, fitter, fitter general, and sheet metal worker.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field.
Candidates with a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from shipyards such as Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited, and Goa Shipyard Limited, or relevant work experience in public sector / private shipyards / naval workshops and experience working on weapon-intensive vessels will be preferred.
Refrigeration & AC Mechanic
ITI and NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) or ITI in the trade of Refrigeration and AC Mechanic are required educational qualifications.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field.
Candidates with a National Certificate of Vocational Training from a recognised institute or a licence authorising them to handle refrigerators / air conditioners and installation, repairs, maintenance, and commissioning of various types of refrigerators and air conditioners used in ships and off shores in a reputable shipbuilding industry or equivalent will be preferred.
Welder
ITI & NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) or ITI in the trade of Welder are both required educational qualifications.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field.
Candidates with a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from shipyards such as Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited, and Goa Shipyard Limited, or relevant work experience in public sector / private shipyards / naval workshops and experience working on weapon-intensive vessels will be preferred.
3G Welder
The candidate must have ITI & NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) or ITI in the trade of Welder, as well as Certification in 3G Welding from any authorised Competent Agency or Government Organization.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field.
Candidates with a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from shipyards such as Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited, and Goa Shipyard Limited, or relevant work experience in public sector / private shipyards / naval workshops and experience working on weapon-intensive vessels will be preferred.
Electronic Mechanic
ITI & NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) or ITI in Electronic Mechanic are required educational qualifications for this position.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field.
Electrical Mechanic
Essential Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have completed SSC and ITI in the trade of electrician.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience as an electrician in electrical projects or maintenance.
Desirable: Candidates who have been trained in electrical trades from a recognised institute and have a National certificate of vocational training or a licence authorising them to handle electrical equipment/installations, such as a wireman licence issued by a competent authority, such as the Goa Government Licensing Board, will be preferred.
Plumber
Essential Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have completed SSC and ITI in the trade of plumber.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field.
Mobile crane operator
The candidate must have an SSC and a Heavy Vehicle Driver’s License as a minimum educational requirement.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field.
Candidates with prior truck/trailer driving experience will be desired.
Printer cum Record Keeper
The applicant must have an SSC and have completed a minimum of a six-month certificate course in computer applications.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least one year of experience in the field.
Desirable: The candidate should be skilled in his craft and capable of performing all tasks associated with it.
Cook
The applicant must have completed SSC as a minimum educational requirement.
Essential Work Experience: Minimum of two years of cooking experience in any industry, including government, small and medium businesses, and hotels.
Candidates with qualifications from the Armed Forces, Cookery/ Stewards training schools, and the rank of Leading Seamen / Equivalent are encouraged to apply if they meet the minimum qualifications and experience requirements. Candidates should be able to prepare a variety of Indian, Continental, and Chinese dishes. Lay the table for Officers’ Lunches/Dinners, estimate the amount of food required, keep correct records of daily commodities required for the Industrial Canteen / Lunch Room and small parties on special occasions, Keep track of the merchandise in the Lunch Rooms / Guest House, enter guests into the register, and generate bills for in-house guests, among other things. Candidates with Goan cuisine experience or knowledge would be preferred.
Office Assistant
Essential Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any area and a one-year certificate course in computer applications (a separate certificate in computer applications is not necessary for BCA / B.Sc. in Computer).
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least one year of experience in the field.
Office Assistant (Finance / Internal Audit)
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in commerce and have completed a one-year certificate programme in computer applications.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least one year of experience in the field.
Store Assistant
Essential Educational Qualifications: The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in any area and a one-year certificate course in computer applications (a separate certificate in computer applications is not necessary for BCA / B.Sc. in Computer).

Junior Instructor (Apprentices) (Mechanical)
Essential Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have completed a minimum of two years of full-time mechanical engineering training from a recognised institute or university.
Essential Work Experience: The candidate must have a minimum of two years of experience in a factory, manufacturing sector, college, technical institute, or ITI teaching line.
Medical Laboratory Technician
A diploma in medical laboratory technology from a recognised institute/university is required. Candidates with relevant extra qualifications are also eligible to apply.
Work experience in a medical laboratory for at least three years is required.
Technical Assistant (Stores – Mechanical)
Essential Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have completed a two-year full-time mechanical engineering diploma from a recognised institute or university.
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in industries such as stores/inventory/logistics/supply chain management is required.
Candidates with further qualifications/certification in Materials/Logistics/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management will be given preference.
Technical Assistant (Stores – Electrical)
Essential Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have completed a two-year full-time electrical engineering diploma from a recognised institution or institute.
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in industries such as stores/inventory/logistics/supply chain management is required.

Technical Assistant (Commercial – Mechanical)

A minimum of two years of relevant experience is necessary. Knowledge and experience with systems related to commercial/purchase and procurement procedures.
Candidates with further qualifications/certifications in Commercial/Materials/Logistics/Purchasing/Supply Chain Management will be given priority.

Supervisory licence issued by competent authority, such as the Goa Government Licensing Board. Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Technical Assistant (Electronics)
Essential Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have completed a minimum of two years of full-time study in Electronics Engineering from a recognised institute or university.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field.
Ability to work with AutoCAD is a desirable qualification.
Technical Assistant (Shipbuilding)
The candidate must have completed a minimum of two years of full-time training in shipbuilding engineering from a recognised institute or university.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a bonus.
Civil Assistant
Essential Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have completed a minimum of two years of full-time civil engineering studies from a recognised institute or university.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least two years of experience in the field. Experience working in civil construction with larger construction firms/marine construction firms is required.
Trainee Welder
The candidate must have ITI and NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) or ITI in the trade of Welder.
Trainee General Fitter
ITI and NCTVT (National Apprenticeship Certificate) or ITI in Fitter / Fitter General are required educational qualifications for this position.
Unskilled
The candidate must have completed SSC as a minimum educational requirement.
Work Experience: The candidate must have at least one year of experience in the field.
Candidates that have completed an ITI programme will be given preference.
