Minimum age limit – 18 years (as on 01.01.2023)

Maximum age limit – 40 years (as on 01.01.2023)

Upper Age limit

Male candidates from Rajasthan State’s Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, More Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections – 5 years

Women from Rajasthan’s Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, More Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Sections are eligible to run for office – 10 years

Candidates in the General Category who are women – 5 years

Educational Qualification

Senior Teacher (Hindi, English, Math, Sanskrit, Punjabi & Urdu) – Graduate or equivalent examination with concerned subject as Optional Subject approved by UGC, as well as a degree or diploma in The National Council of Teacher Education/Government recognises your education.

Senior Teacher (Science Subjects) – At least two of the following topics as Optional Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Micro Biology, Bio Technology, and Bio Chemistry, and a Degree or Diploma in Education approved by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.

Senior Teacher (Social Science Subjects) – At least two of the following topics as Optional Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Micro Biology, Bio Technology, and Bio Chemistry, and a Degree or Diploma in Education approved by the National Council of Teacher Education/Government.

It is responsible for conducting competitive examinations to fill up various posts in services under Rajasthan Government. The headquarter of RPSC is situated at Jaipur, India.
